This is an update on the ongoing elections. The COMELEC has issued a new set of guidelines/rules allowing those overseas Filipinos, who are registered in other Philippine Embassies/Consulates but are now residing/working in Geneva and/or Vaud, to vote at the Philippine Mission/Consulate General in Geneva.
First, please check if you are an active registered voter at any Philippine Embassy/Consulate.
Then, you can do the following steps:
1. Fill up the MANIFESTATION OF INTENTION TO VOTE form (attached). Submit this to the Voting Center of the Philippine Mission/Philippine Consulate General in Geneva, together with a copy of your passport and/or voter’s ID.
2. The Mission/Consulate will verify with COMELEC the status of your registration.
3. Once COMELEC has verified that you are an active registered overseas Filipino voter, you will be allowed to vote.
The Voting Center of the Philippine Consulate in Geneva is open daily (including weekends and holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On 09 May, the last day of overseas voting, the Voting Center will be open from 1:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Please exercise your right to vote. Maraming salamat po.
